Warm boots for winter that aren't Uggs?

Those look similar to Bond Girl boots from John Fluevog. I have a pair and I love them! Fluevog has some really cool shoes and boots and the quality is good.

I bought these boots last year for my walk back and forth to school. Actually I am wearing them today. They are comfortable and warm ....... but not very stylish. I bought them from Marshalls but Zappos sales them. They have a fake fur and can be worn folded over which I never do. The brand is Ralph Lauren style Vivie. Also, I would check out other Ralph Lauren boots they all look pretty warm.

those are stylish and very useful :woot:

I think uggs are horrible...especially when men wear them! I'm just gonna put rubber slippys over my wingtips and wear a heavy sock.

I looooove the boots that you got though Strut!!

i wish there was an uggz equivlent for men......

well, i guess there is....the combat boot.

I know Uggs are like totally out, but what about black ones? The brown ones were way too trendy and done with, but I really like how warm they are and though black might be a little less trendy/ugly. What do you think?

I understand the say-no-to-uggs-situation, I have these Diesel boots that have fur in them from last year. Apparently they are being sold this season again!

^Nice boots Kathween. You don't live in Edmonton do you? (I noticed you mentioned Gravity Pope.)

I know it's sooooooooo wrong, but I'm thinking of getting a pair of the Uggs posted above:

There just aren't many flat, simple boots that really keep feet warm during Northeastern winters. I've gone too many years with cold feet for fashion's sake.

Oh my god, I absolutely have to get that top

I bought these awesome comfy boots awhile ago ... they're faux shearling and tall and slouchy and brown. I know they sound completely tacky but honest to god they aren't, and if the store I bought them from had a site, I'd post a picture. They're ace anyway.

i just bought these which are waaay cuter than uggs and only cost 39.99

i bought the lighter ones and they go well with jeans :)

i liked these as well but ive seen other people in NYC with them:

I feel really bad for saying, but I bough a pair of MJ moon boots for my skiing holiday later this year in white...I hope they're nice...

Anyone seen anything cute, warm, and with a chunky heel? I know chunky heels are unpopular.... =/

I've seen the other colours (red & yellow) in person and I really liked the boot :p I wanted to get a pair myself (black) for snowboarding season (not for snnowboarding, obviously ) but ended up not getting them. They looked really comfy and warm though!

And looks like moonboots are in this year, fellow Canadians. Maybe we could all get a pair and look fashionable while keeping our feet warm at the same time?!

Actually, speaking of NM, they have a section for cold weather boots worth taking a look at. ^_^

Ok, I have always worn a heel but I realized that since I have much further to walk this year I needed to get a realistic pair of boots for winter. Like //LATTE// (I live in Windsor, by the way) I know there is going to be a lot of snow and stilleto heels aren't gonna cut it. Today I bought these and they look great with jeans tucked in.

Strut  those! Where are they from
