$175 is a little much. The lower ones are $155 but that still seems a lot for a shoe that probably used to be around $40.

i've seen this exact wedge at post #1 but higher and in beige wedge with green, turquoise, or other suede leather..
not something i could wear, but yes, i've certainly seen them around

walking in wedges is typically easier because there's more stability than a normal high heel.
yeah- but wedges are more bulky and less flexible, so to me, the trade off makes them nearly equal-

besides, the only wedges I seem to like are the ones that are almost as delicate as a heel anyway...

i love wedges but not your average wedge

i hate wedges that have too wide a heel, i prefer a more tapered heel

i hate wedges that are cork or rope, i prefer an all leather shoe

i hate wedges with too much embellishment, i prefer styles

i love love love my wedges from dkny s/s 2005, they are all bronze leather with a crossover peep toe and tapered heel with a t-strap so they are delicate and curvy and look like a flapper shoe but a wedge

wish i could post a pic maybe later

I think that wedges are definately easier than heels to walk in, no matter how high or the angle that your feet are at because the sole is flat it just makes it easier.

I think wedges are great - and I am going to get myself a pair.

I think wedges are a good alternative to heels...especially when I know I'm going to be walking around town for a while. But somehow I can't picture myself wearing them with skirts ?

I just bought the cuuuutest wedges from the GAP outlet for only $20! They are fairly tall, have a rope wedge, and blue straps... I don't know how else to describe them. They're perfect for when I go on my cruise next week!
