What Are You Listening to Right Now?

She's so genius for interpolating a song that her ex-husband used to sing for her and then releasing it on his birthday.

I can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

I'm rooting for a resurgence for her - Plastic Hearts was such a good album but went relatively unnoticed at the time of its release. It is very enjoyable to see her dancing on the ashes of that relationship in song, let it all out Miley!

I'm a few weeks behind schedule, but I'm all about Miley's "Flowers" song. I don't follow her career much, but it seems like she's successfully creating her own lane & sticking to it. This sounds more true to who I imagine her to be, so I'm a fan.

I love that the kids have discovered this song but that sped-up version from tiktok is an atrocity. Still, I like this trend of older music getting a boost through association with a popular show (even if this wasn't in the show at all, it was only in edits and I enjoy that even more).

Same, she made me a fan with Plastic Hearts, she's always had a great voice but it really felt like she hit her stride musically there so I'm happy to see her succeeding in its wake. Flowers is such a good breakup song, worthy of the lineage of I Will Survive.

Sofia National Opera Orchestra & Boris Spassov - Paquita: Variation 5: Allegro Non Troppo.

So pretty, could have this 1-minute thing on repeat all day.
