it's ego-wrappin covering "love theme" from lupin the third soundtrack.
that theme song is something people around here are familiar with, even though most of them don't know the title is love theme.
you might recognize this version since it was used in the mamo episode.

it wasn't familiar to me, even though i watched the mamo episode and liked it...
after you introduced me to lupin III, i came to realize it's a well known character, maybe a bit like sherlock holmes and james bond, and i, coincidentally, found several vintage hollywood (1940's ?) black and white movies based on the character...
i was really surprised that i had never heard of it before...
It's funny, because at first i could not even understand what lupin III meant...
but then i realized it was lupin, the third...
...so funny...
and from the hollywood movies they explained a bit better about his background, so i feel more familiar with the character...
of course, the anime version bears little resemblance to the hollywood version beyond the name...

anyway- i really like this song so thanks for the words!
