What Are You Reading?

Did you like The Devil Wears Prada? I thought it was pretty hilarious but at times I found myself thinking that Andrea was being too whiny. I mean, if she hated the job so much she really could have just quit and started working for the New Yorker like she wanted. I think she was a bit masochistic.

I agree, MayaPapaya. It was way too cliched at times, and maybe I didn't like her that much because her actual character was kinda boring. I know the author was probably trying to make her girl-next-door but it didn't seem to work. But my favourite part in the book is when Jeffrey gives her all those clothes from the Runway closet-(read:Vogue)-every girls dream!!!!

Kate Remembered, by A. Scott Berg (a biography on Katherine Hepburn).
My coworker asked me today whether she was Audrey Hepburn's mother.
I spent the next hour and half informing her of the basics...

i've recently become really obsessed wiv travelling books and stuff...

That's pretty sad. Especially given that the books for your school curriculum are important classics.

Slightly sad, in a way too.
I just finished Kate Remembered yesterday. Onto a suspence novel called Mood Indigo by Charlotte Vale Allen. It's set in the 30's, deals with old Hollywood and has the yumminess of murder. Quite enjoying it. ;)

you'd be surprised with all the stuff you can learn from a book.

Just for the record: when a book is interesting, the place where you're sitting and the amount of time is the least thing you care about :P
