What Are You Reading?

"7 Steps to Emotional Intelligence" as someone told me that I am an emotional ******

It's actually very good so far, not one of those desperado self help books, good tips on reading (and displaying) body language. Interesting

have you read it?

I admit that I tried but I got lost. However, I think I had a bad approach. I read it without knowing the background of the book and of Burroughs. I would like to reread it (don't know when, because of all the school reading). Still, it is challenging. Do you know that Burroughs was sued for this in two (I beleive) US states? They wanted to ban it, just like they've banned The Little Red Riding Hood and Huckleberry Finn.

ha, it doesn't surprise me at all, the US goverment seems to work under a double-standard and a strage policy of 'freedom'.

hmm, I've been reading the book for a couple days now and I think it's amazing.. it's just so weird and even hideous at points but I'm loving it, I love his descriptions, the criticism at everything and how he takes you gradually into a different scene, it feels like a movie

Palahniuk just remember PAL--AHN--IUK...

Cold Comfort Farm again... - Stella Gibbons

Do not read this book if you intend to take English romantic classics seriously ever again...
