The House of the Dead - Fyodor Dostoevsky (finished yesterday)

Will start Short Stories from the same author today.

just finished Narziß und Goldmund by Hermann Hesse. i gotta say that i know no other author who knows how to write this beautifully, his use of language is one of a kind, he includes philosophical questions that make you ponder but still let's the story flow and touches your heart. love him

now reading Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy #5) - Richelle Mead
i just love to read YA books, can't wait for Mockingjay to come out

The Unbearable Lightness Of Being by Milan Kundera

Stieg Larsson - Men Who Hate Women (English version - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo)

Stieg Larsson - The Girl Who Played with Fire

Right now I'm reading the last book form this amazing Larsson's trilogy:

Stieg Larsson - The Air Castle that Blew Up (English version - The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest)

Probably one of the best books I've ever read.

Just started reading Eight Cousins by Louisa May Alcott which I got an antique copy of today! I'm so excited not only to read the book but also because its one of the first (if not the first) edition of the novels publication! :)

I just finished Blinding Light by Paul Theroux and I almost burned the book. Have started on The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and hoping that it is better.

The Beautiful Fall by Alicia Drake.

It's actually a really interesting subject, 70s Paris & fashion, but it's very obvious you're reading non-fiction, which is so off-putting, given the subject's potential. There are some interesting insights here and there, but the author seems to have never heard of some punctuation rules. Especially the Comma Rule.

I've just finished reading Paulo Coelho's "Veronika Decides to Die": it's ok, but soooo much weaker than "The Alchemist". The end is really unfortunate and very predictable.

Feels like Coelho doesn't try to write a good book, he tries to teach you all the time. But his problem is that he's a poor teacher.
