What Are You Reading?

Alvedansen: I can totally recommend Isabel Allende. I am so happy that my mother convinced me to read them :) If you like colourful stories about women and long family stories you might like it too. Just give it a try, if you don't like them at all you could still blame me :) :)

at the moment I am reading a book from Ildefonso Falcones, it is called la mano de fatima (original spanish title)...I think it is in english the hand of fatima...? not sure. anyway, I really enjoy reading it!!!!!

I'm on my second try with this, but The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo--Stieg Larrson. I want to love this book.

Choke- chuck palahniuk
Glamorama- bret easton ellis

theyre both giving me reeeeeeally loopy dreams as i read them before bed!

Choke did the same for me. I had bizarre nightmares that usually involved food or animals. So weird.

I couldn't make it through Glamorama.

Push yourself through it! The first 100 pages are boring and so are the last for that matter, but they are necessary to set up the story line/plot for the trilogy. I finished all of them within a week. Once you get through the first book, the last two are a breeze. His writing style is not the best but the characters are great.
The Swedish movies are a bit different from the book but oh so good. I  Lisbeth Salander/Noomi Rapace

At the moment, I'm reading Pygmalion for the umpteenth time. It's my fav book. I don't know why I love it so, but I do!

Next on my reading list is an embarrassing one. It comes courtesy of The Jersey Shore's Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino I know it's going to be horrible, but I just can't help it.

I will make up for this indiscretion with a serious literary masterpiece afterwards. I promise!

^oh please tell me if it's good. i love the cover (with the little girl) so much i always want to buy it but it's still so expensive over here...

It's very good. The first pages were a bit annoying but now I'm hooked. I'm reaching the end so I try to slow down the reading to keep it going on for awhile.
