What Are You Reading?

Oh, I agree with nita-karoliina- Northanger Abbey is the worst of Austen's works, in my opinion. I didn't really enjoy reading that novel that much, and normally I love Austen.

^ Am I the only one who liked Northanger Abbey? It was the first Austen book which I read, so maybe thats why I have such fond memories of it.

I am currently reading The Faith Club.

Ark by Stephen Baxter
just found out it's a sequel and i don't have the first book...i'll try to read it anyways, i hope it makes sense without having read the first one.
and i want to finish all the (many) books i started reading this year and never finished, before the year is over, good thing it's christmas break and i have a lot of time

i remember liking it too... it's the most traditionally "gothic" of her novels...
it's not my favorite of hers but i remember liking everything of hers that i've read... just isn't one of those stand outs for me

^ I love the Rachel Cohn-and-David Levithan combi. Their books great for light and fun read.

I'm reading Paulo Coelho's Brida now.

Just finished The Trial which I didn't expect to be so hopelessly depressing.
Keeping with the theme I'm about to start Broken by Shy Keenan which claims to be the most shocking true story of abuse ever told. Has anyone read it?

I loved the Faith Club! Finished it recently. Thought it was a wonderful project and so important for all to understand in today's society.

^my sister just got me that book for Christmas! So I guess I'll be reading that next.
