Started reading Empress Of Fashion, A life Of Diana Vreeland by Amanda Mackenzie Stuart.
Vreeland was famous for "updating" her myth, we all get it, but that does not mean that one has to base the entire book on what was said, and what was "most possibly" true! Any real investigative journalist would do best to find facts and present them as such, without having to point out the difference to Vreeland's take at every other sentence.
Fourth chapter in, and i am terribly annoyed, but what a marvelous woman she was, even without "spiked" up anecdotes.
