100 Years of Solitude, Gabriel Garcia Marquez

I LOVED it.

I myself am going to start reading Haroun and the sea of stories by Salman Rushide today.

the evergreen classic, too bad all his books are just alike. Marquez that is

The Way of All Flesh - Samuel Butler
A handful of Dust - Evelyn Waugh: I should be able to recite it sooner or later.
Darkness At Noon - Arthur Koestler

I'm trying to read all of the Top 100 List in a matter of months.
Thank god that people do like Joyce and not some other trash.

The Mysteries of Winterthorne by Joyce Carol Oates- so far it's vary good. oates is one of my favorite authors.

Is it good? I almost bought it the other day!
It is really interesting, there is a build up through the whole book and you except a spectacular ending but it turns out to be really simple and a bit disappointing but i would recommend it.

Power: A Radical View - Steven Lukes (Yeah, I'm a PS major, lol)

With enthusiasm I read William Boyd's "Any Human Heart", which describes the imaginary and intimate journals of Logan Mountstuart. What impressed me most was the ability of the biographer Boyd who designed fictitious life in such details. A wonderful story, truly recommended.

Joyce's Finnegans Wake for the 19th time, I'm starting to question how one can ever lay the book to rest. ""The only demand I make of my reader is that he should devote his whole life to reading my works". is making sense now.

I loved it too. Have you read her other book, The Little Friend? I haven't heard the best reviews, but I'm going to read it anyway.

Finished Maya Angelou's "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" for the second time in an English class. God, so boring!!!!

We're starting the book called "Less Then Zero" after spring break that I'm so excited to read, a lot of people are calling it a modern Catcher In The Rye, sounds promising.
