just finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and I'm starting A Changed Man by Francine Prose

My friend just read that. She mentioned to me everyday how good it was...

faust - okey, I don't know where your avatar's from so I assumed it had something to do with your nick... ^_^

I just thought I'd jump in and say that it's The Little Prince!! I am ashamed to say that I am completely blanking on the French author's name right now but I definitely recommend reading it--in French if you can since it's the original but translations are also acceptable obviously. Such a great piece of work!

I read it and I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would because of all the hype and friends who built it up. It was a quick and interesting read but not life-altering or anything. It did make me think about autism in a different way though--like what it would be like to be autistic and their thought process etc. Overall I think it's worth reading.

Thanks,I definitely check it out.

I read recently "Veronika Decides to Die" by Paulo Coelho. I liked it!

And right now I am baffled, haven't decided what I'm gonna read next..

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Translations are not allowed! ;) It is an easy read even if you French language skills are poor.

It is. Rather sad, made me cry a little. Has anyone read this Da Vinci Code book? I kept seeing it on the bestseller lists. Is it worth reading despite the fact that it's based on a bunch of lies?
I was a bit dissappointed in this. It was so overhyped that when I read it I was expecting the greatest book evber written, abd it wasn't. Still it was a fun mystery and it was fast-moving (I always wanted to know what happens next). So if you have some time, I'd say try it out.
