so i compromised...plus i felt the need to put on some heels for a change since everyone and their mother is wearing flat sandals...which would usually be what i live in in the summer...(i'm so sick of them right now!!)

i feel the same way. but i can't wear heels. i've had bunion surgery on both my feet in the past year, so in a way the flat style is bittersweet..
last year i couldn't find a pair of flat boots to save my life, and this year they're everywhere.

helena...it's like a pr of overalls with the bottom chopped off...
i knotted the straps and wear it with the flap folded down...there are bits of fabric (ivory)sewn under the 'flap'...

i'll try to post a pic of the piece later on so you can see what it is...
