ftb I need to see pics of the monumental event that is your new trainers!

 You know your wardrobe is deprived when the acquisition of a pair of beat up, non designer sneakers is a monumental event. :p naw i'm just kidding...

ftb Hey....a new pair of shoes is a new pair of shoes! That in itself is an event. ;) Well...at least in my book it is!
adorevintage The beads look great....and I'm glad it's getting cooler too......layer away!

Been pretty boring these past few days. I've discovered it's casual wear at this place I'm working at, yet I've held back a bit only coz I have to get up 6 in the morning and usually just grab anything I can. Excuse the dishevelled-ness.

Vintage navy bolero
H&M satin edged beige top tucked into
H&M crochet brooch
Miss Sixty J-Lot jeans
Office black cut out suede pumps with navy embroidery (courtesy of 25% voucher from Grazia)

IMGA0668.jpg

Taken at the office bathroom....I'm already campaigning for full length mirrors!
Cotton grey shrug from Singapore
Really old yellow/grey t-shirt
Public Beware cream sheer top w/ crochet wide straps
H&M grey skinny belt
Miss Selfridge velvet denim skirt
Vintage griege boots (can't really see them)

IMGA0672.jpg

Taken at the changing rooms of Topshop Oxford Circus after work (might as well use their mirrors and lighting..:innocent:)
Dusky rose wrap top from Hong Kong
Some stripey top that was randomly put in my room
H&M white skinny belt
H&M grey jersey skirt
Grey velvet tights
Old Keds

Then I tried on this velvet textured mini skirt from TS Boutique. Decided that something that short would probs not get much wear so I went for a corduroy puffball skirt instead. Courtesy of 20% voucher from Time Out.

Gosh...I really love discount vouchers....I never use to be this thrifty.

susie great oufits! Dude, if you're ever in Hong Kong at the same time I am, we definitely need to meet up and chill...just so i can behold the awesome spectacle that is your style in person :woot: ;) :p

sorry if that sounded overly complimentary...it's just i NEVER see anyone in Hong Kong dress in a thoughtful way like that.

Thanks FtB! Where are you now? I would love shopping in HK!
Vintage princess, thank you. I love polka dots too:p The picture in my mind after seeing this jacket was that YSL outfit with polkadot...mine was so much cheaper :D
It's very nice of you, Maiden! I am always bored at the office because of the clothes people wear...sometimes I made myself bored, too. So I always try to wear something interesting...(or just not interesting at all :D )
Tangerine, the adidas hightops are cool. I always love sneakers.
Urd, the jacket was from benetton. There were a couple of them left when I visited the store in SF...( i honestly didn't understand why girls didn't buy them...they are so cute). I even bought them on sale. Maybe they are still available in some Benetton stores. I like your new outfit very much! mix not match, but so well put together. I like how you accessorized. I wish I could pull off this kind of outfits.
Thanks Battles.I try to play safe from Mon. to Thu. :D
Chanel, you always make me laugh. Of course, we all love polka dots :D
Jhaime, very cool. And thank you for showing your face :) very cool!

A freezing day of lazing and shopping in 'sunny' NZ...

-Turqouisey v-neck l/s sweater over so-pale-pink-it's-almost-white l/s shirt with white thermal underneath coz it's cold.
-Dark gray-ish almost-skinny jeans
-Pink chuck hi-tops with mismatched shoelaces
-Long necklace- little silver s-shaped things linked together with navy, pink, clear and green glass beads on. DIY

Please comment.

I love your outfit Anna, and thank you for the nice words. Can we see more pictures of the details when you wear the outfit again? I especially want to see more of the shirt.
Ida, very cute flats~ I want them too~ I envy all the people who can wear green color. My skin just looks so dull when I wear green tops...
Thank you very much softgrey!
Chanel, that's a lovely outfit! it's just perfect! Now I wish I have such a top as yours to wear with my new skinny jeans.

sonny, it's so strange how you mention fernando...i've actually played against him while he was with the spanish under 16's...we actually swapped shirts...i'll have to dig it out and take a picture...he's still at athletico madrid no? I must admit...he had the coolest mullet i've seen in a long time a year back...haha..usually i get labelled a becks wannabe..it's nice to have someone say something different...haha...i have to ask...isyour date of birth correct...there's no way your 13 years older than me...

curious...lol..am sorry, i just feel so young compared to everyone else...:(

anna, those are so cool..wear them...!!!

susie...i find it so amusing that you take pictures of your outfits you try on in shops...lol..only a girl could think of something like that...lol..that has actually made me laugh quite hard...(not in a bad way...im not laughing at u)...hehehe...

Boka, that's a very cute outfit. love it!
No1Here, Thanks for the nice comments! How did you tie the scarf? Can you tell me?it looks different, and I love the look!
Chanel, the only thing I want to do now is to hug you and then kiss you. You look sooooo cute!!!!
Adorefaith, those boots are HOT!
Mirrra, the first outfit is just amazing. where did you get the top? are those ruffles at the front? The T-shirt worn with jeans are cool too. Where did you get all of them?
Susie, thank you! You know exactly what I think. I always try to add a little twist in my office look:)
Adorevintage, the pictures are great. Now i have to wonder why everybody wears jewelry so well but me...I'm in my learning curve :D
Susie, all the outfits are just cute! Is there a flower in the first outfit? Is it part of a necklace? you also remind me that carrying a camera when going shopping is actually very helpful. Karma for you!

eek

well i love everyone here, your outfits are just gorgeous and outstanding.

especially susssiiiee darling, i love your hair. i'm super jealous. what shampoo do you use? haha weird question. the other day i was just staring at this girl's beautiful hair for the whole lecture... and i swear i never talked to her before but i was about to after seeing the way her hair flows and swings:shock:

adorevintage i love the necklaces. tres chic. i love how you're pouring coffee in that pic.:woot:

caffeine, love your outfits. absolutely. look forward to your posts. and i always thank you for your sweet comments. :flower:

annakarina, i love those cover things?!?!? i don't know how to call them but they look super cute. i actually bought a pair that were frilly and very cute in japan, but the band broke. it was like 3 bucks, so i guess it was worth it. and i also got a slip cover that slips over a pair of heels that makes it a new shade; i got yellow and it ripped on the bottom and i tripped wearing them so i stopped.
anyways, everyone else, j'adore!

today:
- yellow express ribbed tank
- gold woven necklace; from my mom aaaahhhh i wish i could show you. so cute.
- theory jeans
- puma speedcat sneakers
- gucci logo bucket tote

I heard there were a few cool pix of early photos (from the early 1900's) that are sort of about spirits, and trying to photograph ghosts and supernatural experiences.... at the met. Sounds spooky. And fun. Maybe I'll go to that....

Susie -:rofl: THAT is hilarious! First tFSer I've seen in the dressing room :woot: Kind of surprising actually :p

There was acutally an article on, I think, NYTimes the other day talking about how girls go shopping with camera/cell phones. I thought that it was brilliant, and now we have an example here. :flower:
