first of all, the usual thank yous to the kind ppl who said nice things about my dress (fade, you were the only one to say something nice about my boots, ha, ha so you deserve a double thank you! actually i find the boots ugly myself but i have good memories about nights out wearing them so i stick to them to check if they still "work", ha, ha ). so as i was saying, lots of thanks to Curious, Tang, Caffeine, Maiden and Mirrra.

Tang, this last look you posted is my favourite!!! i like every single item you are wearing there. i have never liked Ben Sherman clothes as i usually found those clothes too boring and this time it is actually the item i like best of all the whole look!!! but i insist everything looks great, gorgeous jeans... everything! top look award for tangerine!

It's interesting that I was thinking about similar things recently. The fashion shows are over, and I started collecting the outfits that I would like to purchase. I found nothing in YSL although it was a nice show, only one dress in Lanvin, but plenty at Hermes (if anything left at sale). Isn't interesting to see in what degree one's personal style overlaps with the runway outfits? It's also interesting to ask how many of them are worth the whole sale price to you. Maybe very little:-)

i sold most of my nice stuff too... including most of my bags (my chanel cambon and tweed bag; louis vuitton speedy) in order to become more chic in a different way.

oh darling.. as far as i know comme des garcons is high end stuff baby . i love to wear either designer stuff or ridiculously cheap stuff bought in street markets or real bargains which i find cool myself (usually nobody else agrees with me, ha, ha...)

OH, I know what you mean although looking pretentious is not exclusively a question of wearing expensive clothes...some people look and behave very pretentiously even in the cheapest clothes. i think it is more a matter of attitude, really, but of course that is just how i see it.
