juzuxel & Von, have you guys heard the new song? I'm dying to get their new album (I think it's out here on the 13th!). I've heard about five songs off of it now and it sounds like a masterpiece; definitely will be a favourite this year.

i am fortunate enough to have the entire new album from Sigur Rós - 'takk...'. a friend of a friend got hold of a pre-release copy. now i'll just have to wait for the official release to buy it on vinyl.

all i can say is i'm REALLY looking forward to watching them live on Sep 13 in NYC. it'll be my third Sigur Rós show. the new album is definitely better than (). personally though, Ágætis Byrjun still holds a more special place in my heart.

Thank you, Arthur! Unfortunately I don't really live that close to any of the three cities they're playing. I do have a good friend in Ottawa however... and I'm strongly considering phoning her up. I also could make a trip to Toronto for that weekend in September. It would take away from my savings to go to NYC again this summer, but then again, it's Sigur Rós!! And completely worth it...

I just realized they're playing at the Beacon Theatre in NY on the 13th... and that would be even more perfect because it's a long weekend. I'm doing a search for tickets right now- I might be able to make that one!!

I really like The Warlocks (not the 80's band Warlock...). I couldn't really find there CD anywhere around where I live so I ordered off the internet and I'm obsessed with it. OBSESSED.
