Sarah McLachlan

Fumbling Towards Ecstacy is the soundtrack of my junior year of high school.

And I remember in high school, one of my good friends sang Adia at the talent show. Awww, the late 90's. :flower:

Wolf Parade (indie rock) -
Maritime (the new Promise Ring!)
The Radio Dept. (indie rock)
Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson (post-rock/instrumental)
The Books (post-rock experimental)
Blonde Redhead (indie rock)
Broken Social Scene (experimental / indie rock / ambient pop)

Regina Spector, I´ve been longing for an original female vocalist and here she is now :) She has a way of using her voice as a real instrument but still sounding very much in harmony with the music, it doesn´t sound contrived at all.

Antony and the Johnsons too, he has a wonderful way of using his voice as well, but in a way that I´m not always in the mood for, a little too odd for me sometimes.

Lately (today):

Bauhaus, Man with the X-ray Eyes
Depeche Mode, Fly on the Windscreen
Depeche Mode, A Question of Time
Dresden Dolls, Half Jack
Tones on Tail, Lions
