Thanks to you, I now know that Ratatat will be at Stubb's September 27. My newsletter really cuts things close.

I am super SUPER excited about the Pixies ATM. Bought tickets for the Houston show, then they added another Austin show, so now I'm seeing two shows. Hopefully there are different encores (although Where Is My Mind? is a given).

I also really want to see Boris in a couple of weeks, but it's on a Wednesday so I probably won't. I've seen them recently, anyway.

I am going to V Festival on August 21st and Leeds Festival on August 28th! I am so excited that my friends and I are able to go to two amazing festivals. I had to save up my money for ages!

I'm going to see Plan B at the beginning of October, too.

I'm flying to Calgary mid-august, meeting my friends while they're cross-Canada-touring. Going to Vancouver, Victoria, then stopping in Toronto to play a few shows before driving back to the east coast. So that means a show every night come the 13th! It's gonna be pretty exhausting but worth it.

Halifax Pop Explosion is coming up and I get a pass for playing so I'm gonna be able to see Great Lake Swimmers, Handsome Furs, North of America, The New Pornographers, etc... for free!

Saw Beruit in NYC the beginning of July, it was amazing. Also saw Akron/Family in a cool little venue in Brooklyn.

Been a wicked summer so far!

In November, I'll be seeing Mutiny Within, Blackguard, and Epica. I can't wait for that concert, three of my favorite bands in one night!
