This purse belonged to my mom when she was younger. My grandma kept it for along time and a few months ago she gave it to me. She also told me that my aunt had a red one, but she gave it away.. *daaamn  *

What do you think?

it needs some fixes (as you can see) and some cleaning but when all that happens, it would be a fantastic purse ready to use.

Mine is really, really stiff faux-leather and the interior zipper is broken, which makes me sad, because it is really an awesome bag. It is very small however. I can't fit my checkbook, wallet, and keys in there properly.

This one I bought at a junkshop years ago. It is more practical, also a lovely shade of green. About the same as yours, I think.

Inside the bag

As you can see, both are very old and rather used, but I still carry either of them occasionally, though not so much since I don't want to damage them further. And because the little brown one is so impractical.

i love all these vintage bags!! it will definitnly look great when its all cleaned up, too bad though that ur aunt doesnt have the red one anymore!

Love it. Vintage bags rock my socks

Wow that bag is preety...I would actually just treat it with some leather moisturizer, and just leave it with all the imperfections, I love it I love it....

I would even add a cute emerald brooch to it, just to give it a kick to it...

Oh wow! I really like that one from your great-grandma. That would look great with a pair of knee-high red leather boots and a big, slouchy, distressed denim jacket.

I used to have a little change-purse made like that, but mine was blue with a similar applied beadwork pattern. Actually, I probably still do have it, but it is among some stuff that is still stored at my parents' house.

My little brown purse with the funky lining is from the late 1950s, from Germany. My great-grandma bought it on one of her first visits back to Berlin after they got settled in the US.

madame titelier: The second red bag you posted with the circular handles and beading remind me exactly of Chloe's s/s04 bag that I think Claudia Schiffer was photographed holding.
