after being in canada for the last year, billy talent comes to mind, but it might be considered more screamo than straight-up emo.

billy talent are really, really bad. horrible. just in my opinion.

The whole Emo/Myspace thing is so played out. I mean, everyone has issues. And, its not my style, but if you like writing about your problems to work through them thats fine. Butttt, I hate the way 'emo' people think they're so freaking deep because they whine all the time. I especially have low levels of patience for self mutilators. They act like self mutilation is a corequisite for intelligence half the time.

Well, you're sort of right. It was unfair of me to equate self mutilators with 'emo' kids. They aren't the same, but emo teenagers do tend to be more prone to being self mutilators.

hmm...i don't know...in my experience there are two types of cutters...those that do it for genuine release...and those that do it for attention...coming to school the next day saying "hey...look how f****d up I am"...revealing the tiny scratches on their arms.... but anyway, the other person was right, it really doesn't have anything to do with emo....

i don't get emo-bashing....everybody has some group that they align to....
