I graduate (from high school) in June, and most girls in my class are already obsessing about what to wear to the actual graduation ceremony and to the one million parties that lead up to it.. I feel over it already, but I do want a pretty dress.
In Sweden it's tradition to wear white to one's HS graduation. So. My idea is to find an antique Edwardian-era white lace dress; then have a tailor alternate it to fit me perfectly. Most early 20th century dresses are ankle length, at least, and I want knee-length. It seems practically impossible to find one (on eBay, anyway) that is in good enough condition while also being aesthetically pleasing, but I'm determined to do it!
For shoes, right now I'm leaning towards pairing the dress with beige/black Chanel two tone flats. Would that work? I won't do heels anyway, and plain black flats seems too average.. Any ideas for potential accessories? A bracelet of some sorts maybe..
