I was recently reading through an old copy of Glamour and they were categorising a look into that typical of certain designers. What kind of girl are you and what outfit epitomises you and your look?

Prada- Sophisticated, Upper East Side- lots of A Line Skirts and tailored shirts and jackets and well cut trousers, mainly court shoes and flatties- playful with make up but you generally stick with clean cut and neutral, chic chignons and grooomed hair e.g. Christy Turlington

Matthew Williamson- floaty, flowery, a but hippyish, indian influence maybe, eclectic, bright pastel make up e.g. helena christianson

Dolce and Gabbana- young, trashy chic, not quite versace and more street, leather and lace, you like to mix it up, stiletto shoes e.g. Victoria Beckham

Michael Kors- lots of streamlined black and grey- pencil skirts, crisp white shirts and cashmere, different to Prada, red lipstick, sharp eyeliner e.g. Caroline Bessette Kenndey

Versace- OTT, outrageous prints and colours, dresses that show lots of cleavage, v high stillettoes, lots of makeup- dark eyes, red glossy lips e.g. donatella and liz hurley

Marc Jacobs- a little of everything, ivy league preppy, vintage, fresh faced, little make up, flip flops or trainers or t bar heels e.g. kirsten dunst

if you can think of anymore please feel free to add

i think i'm probably mainly marc jabcobs- black 50's skirt with vintage indian shoes, a stripy tube top under a cotton hoody- minimal make up and relaxed tousled hair

I think I'm a Prada girl. ^_^

Interesting thread, Pout. :flower:

Very intersting post, I would classify myself definitly as a Marc Jacobs girl. I love vintage and am really all over the place with my style. I've been known to add a little versace flare though. Especially if I'm going out for a night on the town. Great question

hmm, probably a mixture of all of them depending on my mood. Mainly I would say Kors mixed with Marc Jacobs but all of them come through at some point depending what image i'm in the mood for!

Probably, John Galliano- Fun, glamourous clothes with a sexy side. e.g. Gwen Stefani or Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City.

 I can't really pick,I guess I'm a mixture of all of them

I'm definately a Marc Jacobs girl, maybe sometimes a little Matthew Williamson (in the summer  )

Oh... :P I think that I can be so many (as many of us!)

Prada, Matthew Williamson, Marc Jacobs! I think it's cool if you can be many, or one! I think that I couldn't be just one, and many times there is no category for it's more than one mixed at once!

i'm definitely a prada girl. although, i just bought 2 matthew williamson tops, so maybe i'm seguing.

i think i'm jil sander/narciso rodriguez with a slash of dolce & gabbana and luca luca

15% chloe

5% roberto cavalli

PRADA,absolutly but i am also Chloé/Chanel and Missoni

I say.. mostly I'm a Marc Jacobs girl.. but sometimes I'm a bit Dolce and Gabbana

90% Marc Jacobs
10% Dolce and Gabbana

I'd say Marc by Marc Jacobs meets Helmut Lang. Sort of sophisticated every now and then, but still young and fun at heart. :flower:
