my left foot is an 8 and my right foot is an 8.5....

...you wouldn't think so, but it seriously makes a big difference!

for dress shoes, i usually just buy an 8 and try to stuff my right foot in....it usually stretches out over time.

in athletic shoes, i'm a 9 or 10.

I´m a 8 1/2 is Us Size but for German sizes it´s always between 39-41. It always depends on the shoes!
