I've just discovered Peter Thomas Roth and his products are well worth trying. I have his vitamin k eye cream, abit pricey for the small size it comes in but its packed full of amazing ingredients and worth investing in if you suffer from dark circles. Dermatologists seem to recommend it too.
I have yet to try to Olay regenerist. Derms have done a study on it and have said that it is infact better than La Prairie!!!! Below is a little study that was done on the olay regenrist night treatment cream.
This moisturizer contains some excellent ingredients: niacinamide, palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 , dimethicone and many other hydrating ingredients, vitamin E and green tea. Niacinamide has been found in numerous independent research studies to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented spots, red blotchiness, and skin sallowness (yellowing), and increases elasticity. Palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 (in concentrations between 2-8%) has been found to individually provide increased collagen synthesis and natural production of hyaluronic acid in the skin. Vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) is an excellent antioxidant with a high environmental protection factor (EPF), and green tea is established as one of the most potent topically applied antioxidants as well.
(Futurederm)
This just proves that we shouldnt get sucked in by all the marketing rubbish out there. Its not always about what you pay for, some cheap brands can be better and more affective.
Acid- Whats DMAE? I know that Dr Nicholas Perricone is affiliated with it and he uses it in his products but thats about it.
