What to Wear for Halloween

Ive never made a thread before so I hope Im doing this right.

Does anyone have plans for their costumes yet?
Maybe Its a little early but I always flaked out on dressing up as something good and I wanted to be something awesome this year so Im planning way ahead. My friends and I were thinking of dressing up as Galliano, Lagerfeld, and Donatella. And my bf and I really want to go as New York and Flavor Flav but to make a good New York costume would take a lot of thought since she's not as unique as Flav.

I don't have any plans yet...I do know I am getting my dog a costume. I always take her to a dog costume party here and everyone puts funny outfits on their dogs.

I like the idea of dressing up as Galliano, Lagerfeld and Donatella! That sounds so cute.

I really need to get thinking on my costume for this year. My friends are always so creative and I always leave my planning 'til the last minute. I'm determined to do better this year! Hopefully this thread will be my inspiration

I always thought dressing up for Halloween was sort of a dying tradition, but apparently I'm incorrect.

I haven't gone out trick-or-treating, nor have I dressed up at all, for a few years now. The idea of it simply doesn't appeal to me anymore.

I plan on being a robot. I'm going to find various size boxes to make the torso's and shoulders and cut holes in it to let out my limbs. Instead of the usual grey, I plan to make a copper/bronze robot. Excited!

I def. need to plan my costume ahead of time this year. Last year I put together a very last minute flapper girl costume so it wasn't the greatest. I'm think of making a bumble bee costume this year. I'd make a yellow and black striped top with a black tutu and black stockings and slippers. Thats my idea right now anyway. Does that sound lame or no?

I've always wanted to put irregularly shaped facial structures on my face, get a blonde wig, stuff my bra, and light a cigarette to be Donatella Versace.

i better not let my mom see that cuz she's really into our dogs and she's thinking about getting them costumes.

I only pass out candy w/ my family, although this year i might be a cat (make-up), no costume though.

I am so glad there is a thread for this. I always want to do something creative for Halloween, but then I just put it off and get lazy and end up wearing devil horns, but I can't anymore because some a-hole frat guy stole them from me last year. I was at a party wearing them and suddenly someone yanked them off my head and took off running . Anyway, I am tired of having a lame costume and I need something witty and cute and thats easier said than done.

I heard this idea on the radio last year the day before Halloween and made the costume for my 13 year old brother. We took a light blue sweat suit, glued cotton balls and quilt batting in splotches all over it and gave him a squirt bottle filled with water. When people asked what he was, he said "Partly cloudy with a chance of rain" and sprayed them with water.

He was a Magic 8 ball the year before that, we stitched a big 8 ball on a black hooded sweatshirt, both front and back-he had the standard responses (and a few of his own) on papers in the front pocket/pouch of the sweatshirt. When people shook him and asked him a question, he pulled out an answer...

well everyone knows of halloween..
this year im going as a Bond Girl.. (cant decide who yet... p*ssy Galore? Honey Rider? Holly Goodhead?) but i can't think of what costume i should make...
ive got some gogo boots which i SO want to wear..
any ideas?
oh and what are you being for halloween?
i love halloween since anybody can dress up and go wild....

Mmm I have no idea what to do! I like classic costumes. Like Halloween-themes costumes like ghosts and mummies. I think I might do a bat? Just make some wings.
