What would you wear ... if you worked at Vogue

Er..... exactly the sort of thing I wear normally?
If you're starting at the bottom, you really aren't gonna be wearing straight off the runway pieces. The fashion assistants that I do know REALLY mix it up - high street, vintage, some designer stuff. This is out of necessity than anything else since you get paid pittance when you start. Plus, you're more likely to impress the editor with your fashion ingenuity rather than your ability to run up a huge credit card bill.
If you're talking about a Anna Wintour type position, I'd still would retain my mix and match mentality. Sure, I'd wear the big guns....but I'd wanna champion the smaller, lesser-known designers too...that's just me though.....
Don't really wanna get into magazines but working at Mixte or Ten would be fab....

i guess it depends what posistion i had if it was one were i was in the office loads then probally something quite smart.
if i was something like a stylist (my dream job) or something that i was out of the office loads id need something more confortable and practicle but not too casual of course.
although i would never wear head to toe of the same designer
If i was something low down i probally wouldnt be able to afford head to toe designer so id mix and match some designer some high street and some vintage with new up and coming designers, If i was going to buy high street though i would make sure i didnt buy anything that was an ovious rip off of a designer piece as that is just tacky. Id also make sure i had a great bag as thats what us girls judge each other on isnt it
