If you could only wear ONE designer/brand for the rest of your life ...

I'm tempted to change my answer to Karl Lagerfeld, just to force him to work in something other than a size 4 :P

Dries Van Noten:heart: I could totally imagine myself wearing those at twentysomething to sixtysomething

Ari Soffer.

Call me a rockstar wannabe, but I love his "cooler than cool" rocker inspired clothing and accessories. It's just too bad that it's so freaking expensive. So, if I won the lottery, or is someone else were picking up the tab, I jump at the 11.5 grand leather pants with 22 karat gold buttons [the don't look nearly as gaudy as you'd think]. But aside from lotteries or other financial support lines...11.5 grand for pants? Really? That's enough for a new bike.

At my current age (21) - I'd love to just wear Alexander Wang or Helmut Lang (which I mostly do already - it fits my style perfectly) but as an older woman I'd definately say Chanel.

3.1 Philip Lim. Always. Everything is always fresh and yet could probably suit older people as well as younger.

^ I saw the most amazing gold sequin blazer from Philip Lim. I'm dying to wear it. I do agree with you actually. I can see his clothes on both younger and older women.

Thinking about this ... for me it would be ralph lauren because he covers all aspects quite well... from comfy warm day to day stuff... to ball gowns... to smart work wear...

Ralphs my man!
