Runway looks have about 50% chance of looking better on celebs, and 50% chance of looking better on models.

Liv Tyler is always so bland no matter what label she wears.
I don't usually like Chloe Sevigny because her face always looks slightly sun-burned or drunk, even. But she does look good in that yellow YSL dress, and for once her skin looked good. And, is she a hard-core party-goer or what?

A lot of YSL's SS05 stuff has made their debut, even some of the 'hard sells.' Their more wearable pokka dot things have yet to be worn though. Strangely, haven't seen anything from Gucci yet. Maybe they're saving it for the Golden Globes, which is at the end of January?

Speaking of YSL and Gucci, Nicole Kidman has worn these two labels very loyally when Tom Ford was designing. You could always count on Tom Ford to save his biggest dresses for Nicole Kidman at the Golden Globes and Cannes.

She's worn YSL three years in a row to the Golden Globes. When she was nominated for "Moulin Rouge" in 2002, she had on a specially-made black floorsweeper that didn't appear on the runway. In 2003, for "The Hours," she wore this: one of my favorite looks on her, and one of the rare times when she does a head-to-toe look.
