When Celebs & Models Wear Runway Looks...

Anna Paquin in Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2010
This looks fantastic on her. I love and want her McQueen clutch.

Judy Greer in Chanel Haute Couture FW09

I love Judy. She is so underated. But this can't be the same dress.

Sandra Bullock in Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2010
Looking good. Thankfully she belted it.

Taylor Momsen in Pucci Fall 2010
Love the dress hate it on her.

Chloe Sevigny in modified Lanvin Pre-Fall 2010

This looks fantastic on her. I love red accessorised with leopard.

Miranda Cosgrove in Marchesa Resort 2011
Miranda looks cute in this. It's a great colour on her.

Leighton Meester in Louis Vuitton Resort 2011
She looks great but I don't like the outfit.

Natalie Portman in Marc Jacobs Resort 2011 modified
Very cute. Very casual chic.

Jessica Alba in Valentino Haute Couture FW10
Watching paint dry is more exciting than Alba in Valentino. How the mighty have fallen.

Franca Sozzani in Valentino Haute Couture FW10
It's hard to see with the watermark but she can do better. She does wear a lot of black doesn't she.

Leighton Meester in Victoria Beckham AW10
Ooh this is a fantastic look for "Blair". She looks so chic. Love the accessories. Need close up of shoes.

Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen Spring 2010
This is 101 on how to slaughter a waitcoat. Sometimes I wish Selma hadn't married the head of PPR.

Oh my god, WHAT has Jessica Alba done to that dress? It looks absolutely horrendous! Well to be fair, she probably hasn't DONE anything to it but she's just so wrong for it somehow.

Leighton looks amazing in Victoria Beckham. First time in a long time she has been styled wonderfully on Gossip Girl, IMO.

Elisa Sednaoui in Alberta Ferretti fall 2010

That Christian Dior looks so lifeless and dull on Eva Riccobono. I don't find it fabulous anyway but at least on the runway it has a certain.. charm about it.

Bianca Brandolini D'Adda - definitely too short. And this is coming from someone who adores superminis.

Can't say I like that Dolce&Gabanna but Jessica Alba sure does rock it. Great choice of shoes.

i have no idea, what type of fabric is the dior dress made of, but it looks like a plastic garbage bag material. disgusting.

Alef Jnifen ruined that dress. Elisa Sednauoi in Alberta Ferretti looks really good.

Yes, i know which collection its from and what they were aiming for, and Infact i don't think the hem was altered, as sigrid is much much taller than Franca.
and by 'Age Appropriate' i mean something fitting for her age that is more sophisticated, which franca knows how to achieve, that Valentino as a casing point.
Yes the model is definitely taller, but it looks like some alterations were made or that she is wearing a mildly retooled version dress and even though I said that the hem was lowered, it looks like the skirt was reworked from a flirty A-line to a more severe (for lack of a better word) A-line, it just looks like there is more material in Franca's skirt than Sigrid's. I wasn't trying to challenge your point, I was just attempting to take a cheap shot at the selections that some not-so-young women make and noting that you can wear stuff from a youth oriented designer / collection without looking like mutton dressed as lamb.

I think the dresses that Anna Dello Russo and Jessica Alba have on are very beautiful.
But I think another pair of shoes would have looked better with the dress that Jessica Alba has on.
