Jessica Seinfield does justice to that dress. Penelope Cruz's rendition of that dress needs to never occur again... Jessica wears that dress 100x better. And "agreed" to the idea of saving that dress for Rachel Weisz, who looks fab. in Narcisco, plus wears a lot of him to begin with.

Love the Lanvin on Maggie, although usually I really really dislike her fashion choices.

i think something that makes most of thse pieces look better on the runway is their edge. take the chanel dress a few posts up on uma. i think the top of the dress looks soo much better on uma because she's taller and has a longer torso than tiny anouck, but the bottom of the dress is what makes it on the runway, that dishevelness almost makes it. with many of the lanvin dresses there's something about the sheer vails or even head pieces that balances it out/makes it more than a dress. i dislike how much of the time they bore them down. in certain cases you must make them wearable like kirsten dunst in the yohji dress looks amazing but it hasn't become boring, like many of those gucci dresses that nicole wore. the construction looks impressive on the runway yet simple and banal
