about the first time, you noticed models that you have been familiar with or have grown to love. not necessarily their first shows..

Kate Moss - discovery channel , back when I was around 8 or 9 years old they used Kate Moss face as the perfect beauty in a symmetrical face model
for the men, they used Tom Cruise

Natalia Vodianova - Calvin Klein billboards, immediately I saw as the most beautiful woman ever and still is.

Daphne Groeneveld - saw her thread pop up once in a while blast year but never opened it, Miu Miu was the first time I saw Daphne's face

Freja Beha - Walking Chanel s/s 2007 show

Natasha Poly - Gucci by Gucci campaign with the blondie song

Sasha Pivovarova - the Shot of Sasha with the commie red shirt

Doutzn Kroes, Hillary Rhoda, Agyness Deyn etc. - Next crop of supermodels

Ana Beatriz Barros, Adriana Lima, Ale Ambrosio - noticed all of them because of their Guess ads, Ana and Adriana immediately becoming my favorite models

Isabeli Fontana, Fabiana Tambosi, Raica Oliveira - after looking up Ana BB and Adriana I came across a fansite that also had sections on other Brazilian models like Isabeli, Jeisa, Ana Claudia, etc.

Freja - in the tFS weight thread when someone posted a picture of her with Karl when she had short hair

Charlotte Free - the V magazines new faces 2011 feature

Irina Kulikova - the model street style thread on tFS, I fell in love with her style and her legs, about 1.5 years ago

Ruby Aldridge - ca. 2008. I read that Lily Aldridge had a sister who was a model, too, so I checked her thread on tFS but thought she was really boring because there were more Cobrasnake pictures of her than modelling work

Lonneke Engel - the Ralph Lauren and the Cacharel Anaïs Anaïs ads in the late 90's

Arizona Muse - browsing through the Supporting Cast forums I noticed her because of her awesome name. That was before she cut her hair and got über-popular.

Julia Saner - when she won the Swiss finale of the Elite Model Look. There was a news report on it because the presenter screwed up and accidentally announced the follow up as winner instead of Julia so they interviewed the girls to ask them about that awkward moment.

Gemma Ward - on the fashist-online forums, fmd, supdermodels.it, etc. everyone was talking about this new girl that they though was going to make a splash
