What cheaper fashion websites do you like to buy your christmas gifts from. Handbags, Jewelry, Shoes?

Buying Accessories online ?

Have you already bought accessories online ? If yes, have you been disappointed or happy with your purchases ?
What are the best websites for accessories (I'm looking for long necklaces).
Thanks ! :flower:

^ I would say that too. But usually i\ prefer to buy accessories in person because you never really know what the quality is going to be like.

When you buy anything online, make sure you read the descriptions so you know what you're getting- most importantly, make sure the photos are clear.
If you can't see any details, don't buy it. If the colors are questionable, or the photos are at all blurry- ask questions or don't buy it.

try e-bay

I don't get how anybody finds good jewelry on eBay! It's so difficult to sort through the massive amounts of sheer crap. I've given up!

It's not too difficult to find things on eBay, as long as you're specific about what you want. If you search for "long chain necklace" you won't get too many auctions if you just search the titles. It's helpful if you first search just the titles, and then if you don't get enough auctions, then try search titles and descriptions. More helpful hints - when I search I love using the parentheses and the asterik. So here might be a typical search: gold* necklace (chunky, trendy, long, kate, vintage). The asterik in gold* returns auctions with either gold, goldtone, goldish, etc. When you use the parentheses, it gives you auctions that contain chunky or trendy or long...etc. You can pretty much put anything you want in the parentheses! Here's one of my recent searches: gold vintage (pendant, pendent, necklace) (skull, leo, lion, pirate, egypt*, india*, buddh*, greek, roman, greece, coin). Basically, auctions had to have both "gold" and "vintage" in it, it had to have either pendant, pendent (some people can't spell, I take that into account), or necklace in the title, plus one of the words in the last set (plus for example, buddh* returns both buddha and buddhist).
Oh, and if you find an auction that kind of has what you're looking for, see if they use words that you could use in another search...or add it in the parentheses of your current search. Sorry this post is so long - if anyone has any questions, let me know! :flower:

Thanks for the tips, Luxury's Lap! Karma for you.

I have more adjectives I use, but I didn't want to bore people. (Okay, maybe a few more: bird, feather, lea* (covers leaf and leaves), zodiac or your zodiac sign, art deco, art nouveau, engraved, unique, rare, unusual....)

Wahoo! Luxury's Lap! You are amazing! Thank you. I love you and your adjectives.
