Whey Protein

Yeah I know which one it is the moment you mentioned GNC...I read somewhere and hearsay that GNC product have connections to EAS, so it should be pretty reputed, but I dunno, I used to use some of the GNC mega performance range and I felt it was lacklustre to say the least.

Then again if you think about it...its still protein...fuel those muscles!!!

;)

I can only handle the Strawberry one.

I dont know why but the chocolate and vanilla ones taste so bad to me.

does it taste good? do u mix with water or milk?

I might get a small one and try it out..give GNC another chance!!! massive sale now!!!

I tried the strawberry one,but never fisnished it,it's too fade and artificial taste for me,as for chocolate,I am in the 5th galon, like it.

is it an isolate? i.e little bloating effect? and does it digest fast or does it sit in your stomach refusing to bulge type effect?

Yes,the one I used it was isolate,90% proteins,it's my best friend for my protein diet, and as I said before,I lost 15kg two years ago.

I never had a refuse from my stomach, and i can tell u that i have a sensitive one, just the problem is the artificial taste, but I found mine, the chocolate flavor.

It seems to digest well.

I mix mine in a blender with soy milk, blueberries, ice and peanut butter.

I guess with some milk it wouldn't be bad just like that.

I like turning it into a smoothie though with the other stuff.

Yes with milk is more tasty, but more calorific,so I think if it's for a diet to loose fat, better to mix it only with water, this what I am doing.

Thanks for the reviews!!!

I suppose both of them works, will grab a small bucket to try when my PVL Hydroflow runs out!

soy milk..blueberries and peanut butter with strawberry flavour!!! sounds good!!!! I usually just mix mine with water, not using it as a meal addition/replacement!!!

Thanks all! ;)

I have the smoothie with the whey as my breakfast, right after my workout.

I'm doing the six small meals a day diet.

Im eating 6 meals a day as well...

SMoothie with the whey as breakfast after workout? you workout on an empty stomach? how does that feel? we used to do that in the army, I never felt comfortable with it, but I read somewhere years ago, that it helps to burn thruout the day, and that its the best time to exercise, and we used to go pretty hard on an empty stomach with just water before sunrise. Different schools of thought though about this...hmmm

It doesn't bother me really. I work out early enough that I guess I'm not that hungry.

My weakness, and the thing I'm really trying to lay off of is candy. That and booze.

I've managed to decrease my Diet Coke addiction to one a day though.

Baby steps baby steps.

I just added protein shakes to my diet. I am using Unjury. It is a medical protein shake mix and tastes really good. It is a shake many people use after weight loss surgery. I am about 5' 4" 118 pounds and would like to lose another 8 pounds or so. I find I look better when I am slimmer.

i think flavored yogurt is the best for protein powder.
not too sweet with a tint of sour

My doctor reccomended Muscle Milk because I need more protein. Whey protein sounds like the same thing.. any way how many calories does whey protein have per serving?

Whey protein is hell on your skin, gives you pimples like a hormonal teenager.

I use a chocolate flavor I buy at walmart for around $12. I think it's called Whey Fortress . If I remember right it's like 20 gram protein and only 110 calories. i like the taste and put it in oatmeal or w/ water ice and peanut butter in a smoothie. Somtimes I mix it with cold coffee, ice and water for a chocolatey cofee drink. The protein is definatly key for keeping your body nice and lean so this is an easier way to get alot.

Depends on the person. I had protein shakes for half a year and my skin is still as blemish free as before (well, I do get some... on the side of my lower nose and right at the hairline... practically invisible!

it's actually really bad for you and it's made of dairy..so watch out with this stuff don't use it too frequently
