To put it in a very simple way, most trends that are 'hot' right now, are probably over and 'Tickling down' in anything between three to six months.
Thats the way commercial fashion system works.
Consumption rules, money needs to go around.
Manufacturers need to present new styles to the market in less than every six months.
"bubble up" sounds like it would be a trend that starts at the street or among youths and then either moves up through the mainstream (body piercing for instance) or maybe provides the basis for designer inspiration
Im stumped... Looking around shops I can get the drift of what could be "hot" right now... But WHAT IS? I get confused ... I need some moral fashion support and QUICK!
