It was at a countless amount of shoes.... It's cute on the runway, but I don't know if I could wear it myself....

I love white eyeshadow.
I don't wear it alone, but this thread may give me ideas. My only requirement is that it be matte... opaque... - more wall paint than turpentine, say.

cute at chanel, over the top at dior. I love it when it's in the inner eye, a real eyeopener!

It's cute in the inner eye corner, but not on the entire lid.

I used to wear white eyeshadow. Don't know why I threw it out, but haven't owned any in a while... but I think I've been re-inspired. Thanks. :flower:

^ me too, not a fan, until i saw this ss06 makeup look.... it's quite lovely... and against all black clothing, its quite cool!! B)

Lest I forget: For a matte, opaque white, MAC Gesso is more than OK..

^ I'll give it a try.... I want to buy myself a WHITE eyeliner to do an extended eye line (like what they did at Miu Miu F/W 05, but in WHITE instead of black)....

I did white eyeshadow in the late '90's and I'm ready to do it again.
I saw this girl the other day who was wearing lots of white eyeshadow all around her eyes and black mascara. she looked great and fresh

I do the white eyeshadow and black mascara sometimes, my mother did a similar look when she was young too! the chanel look is more flattering imo.

I wore white eyeliner in high school, always was told that it'd "open up" my eyes. My eyes are kind of small (argh), so that seemed to open them up in a more positive way, whereas black just shrinks my eyes (though sometimes, I can't help myself with the smoky look).

I like the way it looks in pic no. 2, otherwise it's a bit too much for my taste... but it CAN look hot.

Don´t forget that makeup for fashion shows has a different statement than for an everyday use. :)

It has to be something that is more to call attention and to be provocative, than the everyday makeup kind.
...my make up mentor once told us that white shadow is more to be used on mimes and clows than it is to be used by women. :D

She was exagerating of course. But i think that white (has to be lightly shimmery) is only nice when used as a wash all over the lid and with loads of black mascara and a nice colour on the lips, otherwise it can bring forward the worst of colours in your face. ;)

I'm dying to try it out on the inner corner of the eyes but I need tips on how to wear it. Would it look weird on Asian / almond shaped eyes?

can't remember the source, the pic is from my hard drive..
