Woot! Ann Dem! Ann Dem! Ann Dem!

In Newcastle, it's always 'fall'...

Seriously though, I just buy things when they're cheap, I don't do seasons, it's a very temperate climate anyway.

I am not the world's most patient shopper, so it pays for me to be organized and shop twice a year with a plan and a color scheme. I can't say my color scheme this season is working out terribly well though  I do shop year-round for presents, and I think that gives good results--I do theme presents.

I have now bought ...

A silk/linen knit (feels great) with crochet trim top. It's knit in vertical panels that go in opposite directions, so it has kind of a herringbone/shadow stripe effect. It has a handkerchief type hem with the crochet trim, and crocheted straps, color is hard to pin down, I guess you could call it a dusty brick.

Brown jeans. Lingerie from GapBody.

This tweed 3/4 jacket (Marc Jacobs from neimanmarcus.com--the item that interfered with my color scheme):

So now my brown color scheme is shot to hell and I'm on to purple and grey :p
