I can't believe I've never stumbled into this thread before.
Galliano at Dior (these last few collections excluded). He's fallen into a bit of a slump lately, but to me he's the most creative force working today (again, these last few collections excluded). He creates fashion moments unlike anyone else these days. I'm praying he snaps out of this creative purgatory he's been stuck in asap.
Also love Lacroix. It's strange because all of his signatures are usually things I dislike, but his perverse way of throwing it all together and making it look like it couldn't possibly be any other way always amazes me. Plus, I'm just a romantic at the core, and his stuff is so dreamlike.
And as of last season, Riccardo Tisci. At first I didn't like what he was doing, it just wasn't my taste at all. But then last season blew me away, it was such a balance between his dark romance and classical beauty and it worked so well (except for those oversize captains hats)
