Guilty or not, one thing is for sure. Michael Jackson has done more benefit to our society than those who judge him.
Lets not forget the millions of dollars he has donated to charities in order to help children around the world.

regardless of how much he has helped the world...none of that matters if he actualy did what he was accused of....he has a sickness....if he did it...he should be punished...if not.....he shouldn't...it's as simple as that

Agreed

I agree with you Jssy, if Michael Jackson is found guilty he should be punished. However, just because he is found guilty, I am not going to forget how he has influenced the world in a positive way.

That is a strange frase tourniquet.
If he has harmed some children, let´s just praise him because he has donated money???

He sure didn´t influenced the world in a positive way just because he gave out money, and if he his found guilty, i think he has only influenced in a bad way!

Considering the fact that he has saved childrens lives by donating money for medical treatments when he could have spent it on himself? Yeah, I think that is positive.

well, guilty or not, remember that he could just been washing his hands with those donations towards children..

*child abuse is a freak business and it should be punished, i've been active in anti-child-abuse causes for years, spreads like a virus..
rumours have it that Jackson was probably abused as a kid if so, it could make sense to go back there as he grew up..
unfortunately for society, abused children if not 'healed' early enough turn to the same monsters that abused them when grown up..
pshycologically repeating the only pattern of 'love' they learned to experience, its a very sad vicious circle and it needs to be stopped very early not to be repeated later on

for the sake of those kids i hope Jackson is innocent, if not, he needs very serious help and maybe punishment too.

We're all entitled to our opinions so I'll share mine.

I wasn't in the court room, I didn't personally review the evidence, and I certainly don't know if he's guilty or innocent. Do I find it strange that he likes to spend time with kids--yes, but does that make him a pedophile no. Last I checked in the US one must prove their case beyond a resonable doubt, if the prosecution did that then he'll be convicted, if they didn't then he wont- but for now I leave that heavy task up to the jury.

guilty or not guilty i still feel sorry for him hes oviously a very emotional man, whos, screwed up ! and hes had such a bad life and childhood. I watched this tv show on his childhood the other week it totaly changed my opinion on him.

I used to think that also. But now they have found child p*rn and pictures of little boys in speedos in his bedroom

I've been reading a book called 'Taking back the night - women on p*rn*gr*phy' recently, and (in the 70s, when the book was written, I think) vast numbers of men in America use p*rn*gr*phy which features women being beaten, tortured, murdered or raped. You can't say all of those men are definitely r*pists/murderers/wife-beaters.

As far as Jackson giving money to charities, let us not forget about one of America's more popular serial killers....Ted Bundy..... he did volunteer work and manned a suicide-prevention hotline :innocent:
These days, child molesters aren't creepy old men hiding in the bushes....sometimes they're scout-leaders, preachers, teachers, ect.
I think Jackson did molest those boys, but I don't think in his mind he thought it was bad....I think he just loves kids too much. Of course, he should still go to jail.
And we all know Jackson's jail cell will be more like a suite at the Ritz (let us not forget Martha Stewart's sweet cell); he'll be totally isolated from the rest of the inmates (because wife-beaters and child-molesters are despised by those incarcerated as well) and get the best treatment, cause if anything happens to Jackson you know activists and lawyers will throw a fit

Stopped reading after you cited her name. She's a vulture........

I  Nancy Grace! I used to HATE her! But I think she is an acquired taste..the more you watch her, the more you like her. She is amusing, smart, and passionate. She speaks her mind..she has inspired me to be a (fashionably dressed) lawyer!

Good point, I did not know that. I'm not an expert on sexual behavior so I would not be able to state for a fact that someone who is sexually aroused by young children have definitely taken part in pedophiliac acts.

I suppose it would be up to the jury to decide whether there is a correlation based on evidence from the psychiatrists and psychologists that have testified.

In any case, I’m a big believer that pedophiles should be treated. Just putting them in jail will not cure them.
