how do you waterproof shoes? and thank you.

You spray something on them. If you go to a shoe store they'll know what you need.

Does water proofing them keep them from getting stained by blue denim jeans?

And... can you use that waterproof stuff ON jeans?

I hate when my butt gets soaked at the amusement park

Do you work for them or something?

I have to say that I'm a major fan of miwoollies, they have both great prices and great quality! I'm wondering if I should get the black ones as well.

Yeah, I do. Mi Woollies owns a number of retail stores and I work in one of those. But the website link goes direct to the Mi Woollies factory (not where I work), so I hope nobody thinks I'm pimping my own website! (Just a bit paranoid as someone asked me that after one of my other posts!)

I get to wear ugg boots to work, it's great. So cold here at the moment!

That's so nice to hear that you love the boots - I'm the same as you, I like that you can lace them up tight and they don't have that bulky look like sheepskin boots often do. The tan ones do sell better than black - in the shop I work in, anyway. They seem to be really popular with Japanese girls at the moment.

As for waterproofing, I use this spray called pelle that we stock at work but I think there are lots of different brands of it - you should be able to pick some up at a good shoe store.

Hehehhe, I've never heard of it before, but I have waterproofed my couch, so I guess you can do it with jeans as well???

I know how you feel, I live in Denmark and we are having the coldest summer in 25 years

But I do love all of the boots you guys have shown :flower:

I just bougth theese boots on sale, I had them a year ago, loved them but destroyed them

I agree with you Celine! I'm from Norway, and we've had the coldest summer in over 15 yrs! So I'm fearing what this winter is gonna be like...

I thought I'd just revive this topic instead of starting a bran new one on winter boots.

I'm currently searching for a pair of new winter boots, they have to be warm and comfortable, but I don't want suede as the weather here is too wet.

I'm thinking something along this style:

Although I don't know if they'd be warm enough as I don't know what the lining is like. Does anyone know anything about Fly London shoes btw?

I also kind of like these, but not so much the colour:

Any tips on where I can find boots in this style?
