The whole poser look in general. It started a couple of years ago when Avril came out and all she knew was the fashion. It was such a disgrace to the whole message of the real scene, and it made the whole thing clownish. All these teenagers would walk around like they were punk and wearing shirts that said "punk" that they bought from the mall for f*cks sake. Or even better anarchy shirts bought from Wal-Mart. It was ridiculous and totally contradictory.

I'm not a punk but I have a lot of punk friends, so I know a lot about how it started in the 70's and the cause of it and DIY ethics. So I feel pissed off with them.

^ yes...the whole "im such an anti-conformist individual" even though my whole outfit was bought at hot topic which mass produces every item they sell and consisting of hot pink long sleeve fishnet shirt under a black shirt with "punk" written in hot pink, messy handwriting, baggy black pants with 234 hot pink zippers, black converses with "unique" shoelaces and good charlotte lyrics plastered on them, topped off with a 2 spiked dog collar necklaces and 0239478 black jelly bracelets

International news shirts (although they were more of a leftover from the 80's)

There was a style I remember girls wearing in '90 and '91 where they'd make the front of their hair a giant vertical wall and the rest of their hair was flat

There was a makeup style where the mascara and eyeliner was applied in a kitty-corner fashion around each eye--two corners had mascara and eyeliner and two did not, the corners that did have it would extend to the middle of the eye area so the side that had makeup on the top didn't have it on the bottom and visa-versa.
