Ok gals, I have two problems.

Problem #1: I'm 24 and I'm seeing a marked increase in the wrinkles around my eyes. Many products simply make my eyes worse! The only thing I have found that sort of works are the following: Exuviance Bionic Serum, Oil of Olay Regenerist Lotion, Skin Medica TNS Recovery Complex. However, none of them work that well and I think they all may be worsening the problem because my lines were not this bad before I started applying stuff ... any advice?

Problem #2: Ever since I started applying stuff around my eyes I've noticed like 3 white head type things right where squint lines appear. If they are indeed white heads, is there anything I can do? Shall I go to a professional and tell them to extract them? I'm scared because this skin is SO tender and I don't want to damage it. Any advice?

Has anyone else had these problems? I've been drinking a ton of water... which has really made my hair grow fast (it NEVER used to grow) and I get enough sleep, although I wish I had time for more than 8 hours a night.

Thanks in advance!

If those "pimples" are what I think they are, then they are not pimples. I have a few myself, near the inner corners of my upper eyelid. They're very tiny, and I just leave 'em be.

you know what, i would go to a dermatologist about it. they could easily remove those bumps for you, and maybe write you a perscription for retin-a. this will help with the wrinkles, and the clogged pores.

iagree

I have a lil bumpy thingy right by my eye crease.. I hate it.. its been there forever.. I asked someone who was giving me a facial and she said it was caused by sleeping with eye make up on... hmmm lol oh well..
RetinA works great, but I dont suggest you use it near your eyes... or at least I never did.. I also dont recommend using it right now during the winter.. your skin will dry out so bad... Im waiting for April/May

i have that problem as well, i tried a lot of eye products, i found 100% pure shea butter works very well, it seems oily, but apply thin layer undeer eyes at night, skin under eyes is so soft next morning.

Garnier revitalift is awesome...the one in the red bottle, £9

Hello--

Those bumps are called milia and ususally show up around the eyes and I have a co-worker who gets them on her jaw-line. Babies gets them a lot, too. They are not really pimples, but they are simlilar. They are filled, not with pus, but with keratin (a protein of our skin) trapped under dead layers of skin on the surface of your skin. Your skin is not getting rid of the dead skin quickly enough- this could be because you are using products that are not fight for your skin-type and are not adequately exfoliating.

I suggest that you see an esthetician ASAP at a well-recommended spa or skin clinic in your area. She/he may be able to extract the milia for you- gently so they will not scar. Don't try to do it yourself though! I will be a licensed esthetician soon and I extracted one that I got under my eye by myself once and still have a scar from it- a much deeper scar than pimple scar.

In addition to the actual facial, your esthetician will also evaluate your skin and set you up on an at-home regiment that will probably show better results than the one you are currently on.

I also hope you wearing suncreen everyday to prevent furthur damage to your skin:smile:
Good luck-- I'm sure you get results more like the ones you want :flower:
