Mullet, according to Mr. yamagata, the images in #1 are photographed by shuichiro miura (三浦 秀一郎).
so are the images of the girl just going out to sea in the end, etc.

i have to say that this is really not fashion to me anymore...
this is ART...

i often wish that we had more artists who did installations like this actually...
who USE fashion to CREATE art...
i usually find that when an 'artist' tries to do something like this...
they fail miserably and it's terribly disappointing...

i would love to see more artists (or fashion designers) doing work like this..
work that wasn't dependent upon commercial success but was just purely creative...

i love everything posted in this thread...
i would love to go to a gallery and see an installation like this...
so much more exciting and relevant than anything i have seen in any gallery in a long time....

i had to bookmark this it is so good. i dont remember ever seeing this thread but the images from 2008 by yoshikazu yamagata of implied film moments are magic. the bench image from kentaro tamai and those on clothes lines have wonderful contast to them. i adore all of this so much. thank you for a visual feast runner.
