Yay or Nay - Hairstyles and colours

I actually love your current dark hair. But anyways, if you'd like to mix up the colors, I agree with going with the honey/golden colors... just don't get those big blocks/strips of color. That's what looks cheap or tacky to me, IMO

Honey what I am trying to avoid is having a palette of colours in my hair.

Once I get highlights, within a few weeks the sun makes them even lighter as well as fading and I end up having about 20 different shades in my hair. Even now. When I get my hair blown out, I freak out at how many different shades have managed to find their way into my locks.

I would definetely avoid the chunking look because I do find that a bit trashy. Should I go for lowlights or all over?

I have to find some pictures of what I want. I am unsure of if I want to go blondish with dark highlights or dark with blondish highlights.

Blonde is probably the only colour I haven't tried.

Black hair really does suit you chick but go see Tina at the salon.
I'm sure she'll help. If it weren't for her I would have looked like Ronald McDonald a month ago.

hmm, you are quite dark and honey blonde has a habit of going yellow brassy toned, if you are really sick of the red then perhapes try a purple colour, autumn winter hair coulours are looking pretty sumptuous and rich

I posted this in another thread but I did go blonde!!

Since its winter, my tan faded a bit. I told my stylist what I wanted and she told me what we could do with my colouring.

When I went into the salon I had brown hair with reddish blonde highlights. When I walked out I had light brown as a base with caramel and blonde highlights. In a few weeks we are going to make the base go even one more tone lighter. So by March I'll have the look I want for spring/summer.

This is the look I have and amazingly enough, IT SUITS ME!!

You will get a picture as soon as I lose about 5 pounds from my face!!! LOL. I'll have a friend take a picture of just my hair.

I got so many compliments on it, I'm loving it.

You are way too dark for blonde hair. You look like you're quite hairy as well ... I mean, how the hell would you pull off blonde with those brows???

Do yourself a favour and stick to being a brunette.

Eyebrows are also able to be lightened and I hate to break the news to you, I'm not hairy sweetie. Good thing you aren't a hair stylist because you sure as hell don't seem to know what suits people and what doesn't.

endless people with dark eyebrows go blonde.... i even know of natural blondes with darker brows if you like the look and like yourself blonde and it makes you feel good I am glad you did it!..... i have been reading versace's posts here and there directed to you babyj and i would say ignore them! they are

Lots of people have darker brows w/lighter hair. It looks great!
