Unusual Hair Colors

I personally dont really like unatural hair colors. I dont like obvious unnatural streaks either, just very subtle natural looking high and low lights.

im the same. i have highlights too. just natural though.

no problem, i know what you mean

that's what i always said but i got so sick of people talking about my hair constantly...i just wanted to blend in. kinda sad isn't it?

aww that sucks. i think if you want to dye your hair you should, don't give up. although i do sometimes notice that when i'm hanging out with a couple of my brunette friends you get less attention and that can be nice, but you have to trade it some things for self expression.

I dont normally like it but my friend had dark dark dark black hair and she has electric blue extensions.I think she is like the only person who could get away with it .its very her.

thats great! I love when people find the look that is totally them.

ELUMEN - a product made by goldwell is amazing!
your hair feels better than natural hair once it's on, and the color stays brilliant for a long time

http://www.elumen-haircolor.com/

i cannot say enough about how much i love this product
i have had brilliant reds/oranges.... i've had a rainbow gradient... i can post photos later if you like

* to answer the original question - i think different hair colors can be really beautiful and amazing if they are done properly (ie, with elumen and a stylist).. it can look really fashionable/sophisticated and still really stand out. it doesn't have to look "immature" :P and it doesn't have to wreck your hair!

Is this semi-permanent colour? That would be exciting!

I love "unnatural" colours but it requires so much work to keep it looking good. I think that's one of the reasons I don't much care for it. When you see someone with freshly dyed, say pink hair, it's gorgeous, but most of the time you see people with their faded, over processed, badly d-i-y hair.

I had my hair blue-black and few years ago and loved it. But I don't think I'd ever do anything that unnatural again.

oh i love that hair color. its different without being over the top and dark without actually being black, perfect combinations!:D

when I was in highschool...I always contrasted my hairstyle with my personal style.

My main clothing style in one word is "ZARA",
and my hair would be different every like 3-4 months...from Mod-hawks, to rock star shag...then I got a perm and made it blonde (I was inspired by dolls) I had an afro once... my hair colour changes with the style of course also an average of 3-4 months....going from Extreme punk colours like the purples and the reds and the pink, I did the blue-black thing....I also played alot with natural colours streaks and all..... My fave was when I had mod-hawk and my hair was platinum blonde, almost white really....it was hotness.

Lately I've been doing alot of natural colours like browns and it's family...it's boring me out lately...I think I'm going to rock out the white again. That was my favourite and everyone else's
