but it has been guite huge as a 'highstreet' trend since this summer
very popular in my part of the woods

love the way it inspired the designers and presented down the catwalk but i'm not that sure i can really pull this off

i have a 60s dress that's yellow, with a sort of brown floral print on it
looks kinda like moschino cheap & chic

that first dress from ruffian, long dress from jeremy laing and tht dress from paul smith looks great! my favs

I know what you mean Lena.. yellow can be a tough color to wear...
people need to be really conscious of how the shade works with their skin tone otherwise they can easily look washed out/pale/sick.

I do like the vibe i get from the color though.. very sunny and happy... definitely very summery..

I already have a great yellow pencil skirt, blazer and cute shoes that I will be able to put into heavy rotation next spring/summer... but definitely not all at once
that would be such a disaster

Yellow can look really good esp. combined with something black, but it's not easy to pull off, and should only be used in simple outfits imo. I like the strong yellow color (and mustard), not a fan of pale yellow (or other pastels for that sake).

Btw, I think yellow lookes good on pale skin as well, not just tanned, just look at ewenings example in post #14.
