Wow, these ads are fantastic. Thanks everyone for posting!

these are just so inspiring...

the ones from the 80's are burned in my brain and have become a part of who i am....
there is no question of their permanent and continuing influence on me...

...

thanks for pulling these together...

i really think yohji should have this on his own website!...
i think it helps new fashion afficionados to see the history of a line...
it can give them a whole new appreciation for his current work!...

thanks for all of these...
the black & white ones are my favourites

they make me think they are mood boards

found some new ones from his later campaigns all shot by Alexia Silvagni

Mullett, here's some info about Alexia Silvagni

Alexia Silvagni was born in Paris in 1966 with a french-italian nationality. In 1984, after receiving a degree in history, she started working as fashion editor for Elle and most especially for French Glamour, from its creation until its closing in 1995. Alexia also contributed her styling to other magazines such as French Vogue and Mixte. At the same time, her eye for fashion was put to use while consulting for fashion television programs including France 2 and M6. Her interest in photography, however, surfaced in the early 90s, and in 1992 she started collaborating with French Glamour as photographer. Since then, Alexia regularly contributes her photo editorials to international magazines such as Casa Vogue and W Magazine.

Re: posts 46-48, 2006..
While I certainly enjoy the annual ad campaigns w/ the pretty outfits & the pretty models w/ the pretty hair & pretty make-up & pretty poses & pretty set design & pretty lay-out and the pretty-this & pretty-that, it's certainly refreshing to see an ad campaign that ONLY shows the pretty outfits, w/o all the other (unnecessary) filler...Very lovely, it is indeed..

Thanks! (insert "flower" emoticon here)
