margiela artisanal is now exclusively available in a special area of yoox now. it's the only one of its kind on the web. it broadens a few seasons with some highly memorable,special items. unfortunately,sizes are restricted and the prices(albeit well worth it)are quite steep.

and it's available for men as well. there's a very cool recycled rock n roll t'shirt MMM did a few seasons ago with stitched dyed yarns.

boo! more than half of the items in the new spring-summer section comes from the autumn-winter section. I sure hope those items will still go on sale
On a brighter note, I did buy a T-shirt by Dries Van Noten and a pair of bright blue Dior Homme jeans from the new summer collections

Those Margiela Artisanal pieces are soooo beautiful, I really want one just to exhibit it in my house!

I really should have bought them with my 15% off code last weekend when the price wasn't marked down yet. I had such a busy day today and was unable to check YOOX until late in the afternoon, then I suddenly saw they were sold out and the price was marked down by more than 40%! I was so devastated!

This was as bad as one or two years ago when I missed a beautiful leather jacket by Kris Van Assche in IT size 44 that was marked down from $2,000 to around $400 on YOOX.

^ I just had that exact same problem last week! I called Yoox and they said that happens because of vendor restrictions on where certain items can be sold. I ended up just ordering through the US site and having it shipped to a sort of freight forwarding company. Maybe you can use something like Borderlynx?

^ Thanks! I've never used a US proxy like that before; do they charge a lot of fees to use their service? I'm gonna google it up! And how long did it take for you to get your boots?

^ I've never actually tried Borderlynx before.

The service I use is a warehouse just across the border where I can have my packages shipped to. I make the 1.5 hr drive every so often and pick up all my purchases. It's pretty reasonably priced and very, very convenient. My boots are waiting for me there right now!

Did you have any luck finding a way to get your item?

yoox just did a fall preview update with some nice choices from comme des garcons, junya and dries van noten.

it was a shoe day for me with two swell pairs, a pierre hardy colorful lace up and the python oxfords from comme. god i hope they fit.
