flew to miami last week, wore:

black sevens
juicy couture track jacket (grey with black stripes)
teal (?) solid tee that matched the design on the back of the jacket
chucks
big sunglasses

Regardless of business or economy class, comfort over looks. Especially if I'm travelling near to 10 hours!

No makeup, just some powder because I get really oily even up in the arid cabin, brows drawn in and a very light coat of mascara.

I prefer loose dresses over jeans, they're comfy enough to sleep in and I tend to bloat up there somehow so jeans may cut in. The toilets are notoriously small so dresses are faster y'know?

Jet set chic just makes me think of awful Michael Kors.

Im not even taking Paris Hilton as an option.

I don't know, plain ol' black tee and black jeans, white sneakers and lame luggage, im not in the mood of impressing anyone when im getting off an airplane...

^ditto!

Ermmm.

Hair tied back, with a black ribbon.
Black Fendi sunglasses
Diamond Studs.
Tiffany & Co. 1837 Gold lock pendent, on a gold chain.
White cami, underneath
a black Blazer.
Seven' washed jeans.
London Sole black flats.
Foli Follie silver bracelet.

- levi's short's
nike shox rival (white/silver)
d&g camisole
or
-white victoria beckham jeans
green converse
black camisole

which you prefer?

Sweatpants and a T-shirt. I know, very glamous. Hehe. Remember when people used to dress up to go to the airport?

i usually wear a cute sundress with some kind of jacket or shrug. you never know who you're going to run into but it's still important to be comfortable.

I've never regarded comfortable chick as an oxymoron. Sweats aren't the only comfortable clothes on earth just the ugliest.

I wear my favourite, most becoming clothes. Heels (which I remove on the plane for ballet flats) and a thick silk pashmina for cold draughts, all kept in a big Longchamp pliable bag. I spent 7 hours at Houston airport last year waiting for a connecting flight and I swear, any train station must be more stylish than an airport nowadays. Very sad.

Iv'e never travelled in first class before....... but i'm curious... is it the same policy of ONE carry-on?? And what about the luggage... I mean do they take more care of the first class bags then the ones on coach considering the first class people are going to have very expensive things??
I'm SO paranoid about the airport losing my bags...because it happens SO often...already once to me...and I'm always hearing somebody complaining that the luggage was lost!!
If I was wealthy...and had nothing but designer clothing in my bag...I wouldn't want by bag to be lost !!!!!!!! So are they more careful with first class bags or not??

i dont know... i really don't see the point of dressing up or dessing nicely when i travel . . . i just want to sleep on the plane so i tend to dress as closely to pajamas as i can get away with and not feel gross... im flying to italy next month and although i dont want to give italians the wrong impression of me, the truth is i'll be there for another 5 weeks and looking like i just rolled out of bad those first few hours doesn't bother me. at least i'll be well rested. :)

comfortable, most of the time (though nothing like paris hilton).

most of the time its sweats, a tshirt, a hoodie if it gets cold, and uggs or flip flops depending on the weather. and then i have my nice purse which is weird but its my "personal item"

the only time i wear nice stuff is when i want to bring something with me like my frye boots. then i wear them on the plane, and of course, i cant just wear them, i just have to have an outfit:rolleyes:

Cheap Chic. Shades are key. I tend to wear neutrals too.

Comfortable but chic~~~

top, slip fit jeans, jacket with some pockets...as for shoes, ballet flats or sneakers is the first choice, i never wear heels when i fly

I'm taking an 8 hour flight to london, and I plan on sleeping half the time, so sweats

Jeans, not very tight.Nice t-shirt, cardigan or pasmina, ballet flats. And 2 bags, a tiny one for passport, tickets, cards and money, and a larger for magazines or a book, evian spray, lip balm , make-up kit...etc.

no, but maybe the insurance is bigger in case it was lost.
They give you a cotton sh*t to sleep and lots of cosmetics in that bathroom, I was the only woman in the first class, but the lady's cosmetics disappeared very fast! Only one bag is allowed but they can close their eyes - I had a small suitcase - the one you are allowed and one big shopping bad from Chanel with things I bought at the airport.

Depends if I'm on business or vacation and if it is a short flight or long flight,
If I'm on business - I'm coming from my office or going to a meeting from the airport - I wear my suits and heels.
On vacation and long flights - jeans that are not tight, a cardigan and a shawl or wrap /I'm always cold in the plane/ and T-shirt and some flat Prada sport shoes without laces so that I can take them off easily. A small Chanel bag for my passport tickets and money and a Tumi bag for a book and make up.

I don't understand why so many people wear sunglasses inside the airport. Am I missing something?

I think it depends on how long time I'm going to fly .. and so on and so on. I think I would wear my Dior glasses, my True Religion jeans, some flats and a long-sleeved blouse or a t-shirt. Just something casual.
