2. As The Rush Comes-Motorcycle
3. It's Like That-Jason Nevins vs. Run-DMC
4. Turn It Up(Paul Oakenfold Remix)-Paris Hilton
5. Faster Kill Pussycat-Paul Oakenfold Ft. Brittnay Murphy

Felix Da Housecat's Silver Screen Shower Scene is pretty much perfect. Lots of XTRMNTR by Primal Scream and Jesus and Mary Chain.

Your Runway Music

Let's set the scene: You're selecting music for your favourite designer's runway show. What would be your top three tunes to use? Mine would be....

Annie - Chewing Gum (for something like a D&G show)
Christina Aguilera - Candyman (maybe Victoria's Secret?)
The Ramones - Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio? (Miss Sixty, definitely)

Hugs, Caprice.

there's a song that i love, forget name. It goes someting like "strut...........what the Fuk.........."kinda techno

That's "Star 69" by Fatboy Slim. But it samples a house record, that I can't remember the name of! Hope that helps...

Music You Wish Was in Fashion Shows

After attempting to search at least 10 pages (bless my soul, there are about 51) I could not find a discussion like this at all. If there is one, I will proceed to cover my face in shame. :D While we know what music the designers use, what do you want to see the models parading too?

My List:
 • Kate by Sambassadeur
 • Mushaboom by Feist
 • Grass by Animal Collective
 • Some Velvet Morning by Primal Scream
 • Silence (Sanctuary Mix) by Sarah Mclachlan
 • Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani :ninja:
Just something fun to consider. ^_^

Anything classical, opera, jazz or completely regional and traditional. :)

It would really depend on the theme and feel of the clothing. But I wouldn't care to use any Techno, R&B or Rap....I wouldn't mind something from Low-Fi ganre.

For some reason, I'd like them to try using country/pop music, like Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood. :ninja:
I just have never seen them do that before...

Or even something a little alternate:
The Fray?

^ Hmm, that would be interesting. Maybe even alt-country?

Leaders of Men - Joy Division
The Bomb - New Young Pony Club
Attack of the ghost riders - The Raveonettes
Blood on our hands - DFA 1979
House of jealous lovers - The Rapture
Sic transit gloria - Brand New
Believe - The Chemical Brothers
20th century boy - Placebo (cover of T-Rex)
Crystal - New Order
Primitive - Ambulance LTD

traditional or lo-fi sounds good to me.

also:

italian soundtracks from the 70s
jazz from the 20s
yé-yé from the 60s
or ed banger stuff if they don't use it already

Leon Jean-Marie - Make It Right
Noah - Cry Wolf & Are We Gonna Make It
Patrick Wolf - Bluebells
M.I.A. - Jimmy
Justice - Stress
Zoot Woman - Taken It All

I loved "Beware of the Dog" by Jamelia in VSSF 2006, but I think its place is for runways... definitely.

I have hundreds! I almost hate revealing them here because I want to keep them a secret until my big show in Paris ( the one I made up in my mind ;) ).

Ratatat- Seventeen Years
Led Zeppelin-Kashmir
Pink Floyd- Money
Rolling Stones- Paint it Black
Matisyahu- King Without A Crown ( extended version )
Bjork- Isobel ( Portishead remix)

and a ton more I can't think of right now.

well i wouldnt want to bother to get all sorts of artists. i would just ask Boys Noize to mix my whole show!
