YSL Maia and Rive Gauche Bags

Hmm...apparently, NM did not buy the large rive gauche? I don't know but that's what the SA told me on the phone today...I'm REALLY itching for the large grey rive gauche bag but I still worry a bit about the trendiness of the bag...

does anyone know the "official" rive gauche sizes?
neiman's doesn't list the sizes on their website, and i've heard conflicting sizes of the medium and large totes...

here's the info i have so far:

medium: 13.75 x 11.75 x 4.5 (according to bluefly.com, bagborrowandsteal.com has the medium listed as 13"L x 4"W x 11"H)
large: 13 x 15.5 x 3 (according to saks.com)
canvas: 12 x 17 x 4 (according to saks.com)

styledrops has these sizes:
15"W X 12 1/2"H X 5"D
14 1/2"W X 9 1/2"H X 4 1/2"D

OMG...the grey better not be on sale...my SA totally lied to me...when I asked her if the rive gauche will go on sale about two weeks ago, at the time I bought mine, she was like no, these will def not go on sale...
btw, how much was it reduced to?

Ooh...I didn't read your post clearly...I nearly fainted when I read that it was on sale I thought you meant the YSL boutique...I guess this makes me feel a little better as only the boutique carries the grey...oh yea...Sophia helped me with the bag this time...I had wanted to give the sale to the SA who helped me with my boots before but she wasn't there...oh well

After some frantic phone calls to various boutiques, I can confirm that my grey RG will NOT go on sale this time...at least not yet...I guess this makes me a lot happier

just bought the ostrich olive/sage rive gauche...the SA told me it wont go on sale as exotics never do at YSL..that better be true..its gorgeous!!!!!!! will post pics later

Congrats, Uniq...I LOVE the exotic YSLs...especially the rive gauche, can't wait to see pictures! The rive gauche is also so easy to use, with both the long strap and the handles...

They did have a gorgeous purple suede one in a May Vogue shot but there don't seem to be any in their current lineup on YSL.com ... I hope they do not drop it as I really love the bag

i just bought a white/cream rive gauche, does anyone know what i should do to protect the leather? (waterproofing etc?) and if i use those will it affect the color of the bag at all?
